Declare a passport lost or stolen
Your passport needs to be cancelled if it’s lost or stolen. If you don’t replace it, you need to complete a stand-alone declaration so it can be cancelled.
Cancelling a lost or stolen passport stops others using it illegally and protects your identity.
You only need to complete a declaration if you are not applying for a new passport because you will be asked this as part of your application.
